The Frenzy is well under way! Pixaprize has seen a staggering number of folk hunting through the treasure hunt grid since midday today. Remember! Tomorrow, all will be calm again, but for today, there are still two…. sorry! there are at least two prizes remaining to be won.

Another thing…. The BioShock Game is due to end tonight, before midnight too, but another prize will also Disappear. Either one of the two Nintendo DS Lite’s or the IPod.

For the last 2 weeks, Pixaprize has been calmly simmering away. We’re on the final day for prizes to “disappear” and yet, not even a Gift Certificate has been awarded in the month of June …….. Well, the wait is soon to be over!

By midnight tonight, at least four (4) prizes will be awarded. As the deadlines arrive for the Stepper and the BioShock Game, we’ll definitely see these go but we’ll also see a couple of Gift Certs “Go” as well a surprise award from June’s remaining prizes! Go Pixaprize!

New Prizes

All the new pixaprizes for June have been set A console lives amongst them.  There are some console games up for grabs, a couple of Nintendo DS’s, the same 5 Amazon Gift Certificates and a much need exercising machine!  I thought you may need the exercise consideringthe amount of time you sit at your computer, i’ve introduced a stepper machine for those in need of some exercise.

Prizes will be activated tomorrow - watch out for which are in the “prizedraw” format and which are “last-clicker wins”

For the first time I’m going to post the clue right on the blog. I’m aware that subscribers might not like the idea as they subscribed to receive the clues way before anyone else, but bare (or is it bear? - I’ll never get the hang of that one!!) with me! I’m thinking out of the box! ……or trying to anyway!

I was gonna make this a blog about the journey I make from “net newbie” to “flourishing online entrepreneur”. An exciting and fun-packed adventure of “highs” and ofcourse the expected “lows” of converting a relatively unpopular and unsuccesful site into ……… well…….. the opposite! (Successful & Popular!)

What I’ve experienced so far is exactly that! Many Highs & Way Too Many Lows! There are days when I’m surging with enthusiasm and get a crazy amount of work done; where there simply aren’t enough hours in the day to complete what i’ve started………… and then there are the days (sometimes numerous days!) where I can’t be motivated even if my life depended on it!! What is it with this attitude? Am I a born loser? (Don’t answer that!!) Am I not serious enough to get this done? Am I going to let so many of my visitors down? Am I going to let myself and my family down? I certainly don’t want to………. so why?

I mean, I’ve spent the last two years (and then some!) of my life trying and failing at bringing success.
The vast majority of my time has been spent on cooking up ideas! Not just new marketing techniques to get the Pixa site in line, but whole new sites, whole new concepts and whole new businesses. I believe the word is “pro-crastination”! - It’s a very powerful “action” word, or should i call it an “in-action” word. There are literally millions of people who had ideas, but never acted upon those ideas. How many times have you regreted not putting something into action all that time ago? Five years ago, before the housing boom, I “nearly” purchased a house for a measly 20% of it’s current price. The property boom has come and gone and yet I remain on the outside just because I couldn’t commit.

Well, not anymore! I am here now and am willing to take on allcomers - I will do those things that downright scare me as long as I know it will move me from A to B. A year ago, forget A Year ago, even a couple of months ago, I would have been far too afraid to stick my name to such a blog, I would have been far too afraid to send out a mailing to my subscribers in the fear of embarrasing myself. I am a wiser individual and a humble one to know that I will make mistakes, as everybody does, but he who learns from those mistakes is the superior individual. It is he who will go on to glory………. (or hopefully a little bit of success!!)

Now, I know you guys spend numerous hours hunched over your computers, bouncing from site to site. I do the same, I also “surf” and have been doing so for the last two years, almost non-stop! I believe i have picked up enough information (we are living in the information age, after all) to have come up with a concept which will be profitable to you…….. yes, to you! Ofcourse, I intend to be rewarded for my efforts
and you can’t begrudge me that. I’m putting in the hours and working extremely hard in creating this. Just bear (or is it bare!) with me until i get this done. Everybody I’ve spoken with about this new concept thinks It’s great. Everybody.

I have a plan. It’s written down. It’s a step-by-step action plan of things i need to do until the new site is launched. I need to do things that i never would have dreamed of a few months ago, but I’m going to do it whether i feel like it or not. Whether you follow me or not. Whether the sun rises or not.

Please excuse my rant, but I’m getting frustrated and thought to let you know as to what’s going on in my head. I’ve neglected in sending you “clue” e-mails, winner e-mails, blog posts in this blog and I haven’t even fixed the error people are seeing when they open up www.pixaprize.com’s homepage (only in internet explorer) - I will do this soon. Don’t worry about the error, it’s not harmful or cause any site breakdowns, just click cancel and continue.

Programming of the site is underway. In fact, programming of one of the sites is complete. Yes! one of the sites, that means I’m creating more than one - there’s actully two sites which are due to be launched in August 08.

We Love the new colours and overall designs for the new Pixaprize site. I’m gonna tease you here with the mini-image, I’m sorry about that, but I’m gonna keep the features a secret until later.


Notice the new logo - well, this is the draft version as yet. I’ve requested an image of a “prize” to be added so it can be instantly perceived as a prize site. It still needs some work to incorporate some fun and excitement into it.


Overall, the new sky blue colours are awesome; in my and my “Design Guru’s” opinion!



Then Again! It’s not our opinion that matters and it’s true appeal will only be indicated by you.


I can’t wait to get this launched!

Ok, it’s the final day of April! ………. And It’s hotting up over here at Pixaprize with April’s PS3 (ending today!!) mixing in with May’s new prizes. It’s gonna be doubly difficult to hunt down in the grid as that PS3 gets lost amongst all the new entries!



Here’s April’s final clue:

That should be “gettable” by the UK pixaprizers, so for the Americans I’ve come up with another clue:

I’ll be adding on one hour if Chelsea -v- Liverpool goes to extra-time & penalties! You should have figured by now that I’m crazy for football (soccer!!)

Right! Moving onto other “news”: Pixaprize V2 is moving along quite nicely, I just can’t wait to make it a “3-pointer”. All the ideas you gave should make it a “slam-dunk” of a web-site when it arrives in………. A few months time!



Yes, unfortunately, it’s going to take some time to develop and i have so many tasks to complete to roll this out for you. I know I have your support and am hoping to move things very quickly. I should mention that I’ve re-considered doing the blog……….. Unless you really want it! I really did want to do the blog but I have enough on my plate with Pixaprize 1 & now Pixaprize 2!.. Sorry! I’ve already commissioned some graphics work to be done for version 2 and these should be back before mid-May. Actual programming will start after I receive the designs back - I might give you a sneak peak when they arrive.



Also - Don’t be telling your friends about Pixaprize just yet!! A few of you asked me whether I want you tell your friends about Pixaprize, but, to be honest, I’d rather you didn’t just yet. You may regret it!! I can understand that might be a little confusing, but the new Pixaprize will have a “Tell-A-Friend” program which’ll earn you points (and of-course prizes). On top of that, I’m going to include a system which’ll allow you to earn cash! Real mint green notes!! Hey, If you tell all your friends now, then you won’t benefit later when the “Tell-a-friend” Program comes in. I’m only being fair.

Oh Sugar! I nearly forgot! The mobile phone prize for May is in the “prize draw” format. Which means that everybody can enter for it at any time during the whole month. On June 1st, one winner will be chosen at random from all entries to win it.

The Ipod’s gone! I’m still awaiting confirmation from the winner so if they don’t confirm soon then it might just go back on the grid.



Congratulations to all the people who responded to the last mail asking for the cut-off time for the Ipod and figured it out. The clue was:

“The Ipod ends during half-time”.

Now, you do know that footy/soccer is our national game and Arsenal played Derby tonight. It was the only Premiership game on so it shouldn’t have been that difficult……. Many of you really did go for it as soon as the referee blew that whistle! For those who didn’t mail…. you missed out!



Again, it’s a shame that there’s only one winner, but I hope you had some fun



We now have the PS3 and the final Amazon Certificate left. I think I’m simply going to leave you in the dark with these! Well, it’s not totally in the dark, is it!? You’re aware that they both have to go before midnight (GMT midnight) on Wednesday, so you have two days to play for them……….

OK , that was just a starter! The first prize that’s just been won was an Amazon Gift Certificate! Not the Ipod or the Playstation that most of you are expecting to win…… But I can tell you that the next prize is the Ipod……… Yes…….. Definitely……. the Ipod……. Not the PS3, but the Ipod!!

Oh ………. Mark Powell, winner of the Xbox 360, just sent me a couple of photos - one is of his daughter hugging the Xbox and the other looks like the delivery receipt (you can actually read the delivery note!) …… He had this to say:
